Introduction
The National External Quality Assurance Programme Pakistan (NEQAPP) was launched in 1995 in Pakistan for enhancing the reliability and credibility of medical laboratories. The aim was to improve the accuracy and consistency of lab tests and diagnostics, fostering trust among patients and clinicians. The PT schemes of NEQAPP help medical laboratories to identify areas for improvement and promotes continuous quality enhancement.
